Our Jake is home safe and sound. He was sooo excited when we picked him up last night. No not to see us, to tell us all about his adventures at camp. He absolutely loved it ,and he is already making plans for next year. He had a hard time telling us his favorite things but a few were Capture the Flag and Epic Battle, games they played. He polar-beared every morning, came home with crafts, swam in Lake Michigan and the pool ,and had a camp fire. He talked about reading the Bible and told me stories about Jesus...So cool! He did all he had hoped to do. He also did all his mom had feared... Mom: Did you shower ,Jake? Jake: The showers were small so I just rinsed off. Mom: Why are your socks so dirty? Jake: Oh ,it's sandy around here. ( Hummm...he came home with all clean socks EXCEPT the ones he had on. They may need to be burned along with the one pair of underwear he apparently wore the ENTIRE time he was away. Gotta let it go...right?????
