We are not bored yet this summer break. Jake has had football camp this week. He is having a blast with it and comes home with tackling stories everyday! He attends camp with several friends including Landen ,and his brother Chase. They come over every morning and the kids, babies included.. not by their brothers choice, practice before camp. Next week is basketball camp and Matt and Pam are coming into town! We can't wait to see them!!
Our neighbor , Hannah, came over for a whole day and Jake and Hannah introduced the babies to riding their bikes (the babies in their stroller)up to the local gas station to get candy. The corruption starts early when you have a big brother. The babies enjoyed a sucker, Hannah a candy bar and Jake picked gum. Zach went crazy over all the trucks he saw on M-40."Truck, Truck, Truck!"
Jake has 3 ball games left. On Tuesday night he played his buddies Landen and Garret. That is a game he has looked forward to all season. I love the picture of the three boys!
The babies are staying busy playing outside a lot! They love their pool, the slide, their little cars and picnic lunches. We have gone to the farmer's market a few times now and taken lots of walks! Inside they have decided that they need to eat at the big table for snacks. Abby has even climbed onto the bar stools by herself. YIKES! Abby and Maddie have also been much more attentive to their babies, dolls. They pretend they cry, feed them ,and read them books. DARLING! By far the thing the babies are most into these days is ELMO! They can not get enough of that furry red guy! Jake says he can't get that la la song out of his head! I hear ya Jake!
