What A Blast!

What a fun weekend! On Friday, after my last day of school, we packed up the kids and headed to the Detroit area to visit family. Ron, Jake, my cousin's husband, Rob, and their son, Brendan, all went to see the Tigers play at 7. They had great seats, right by Magglio. ( Jake's favorite player!) They stayed until the end and even caught the fireworks display! The triplets and I headed to Aunt Shirley's house and got settled in. On Saturday we played with all my aunt's "party " toys, her new boat, the Kiddie pool, fishing, bubbles, ladder ball....Her new boat is a blast! We all got to take the maiden voyage! The triplets christened the boat with their juice boxes which they squeezed on the floor!. The grown ups had a yummy rum drink and managed not to spill. On Sunday we headed to Kensington Metropark Farm Center to celebrate Brendan and Aida's birthdays! What a great place for a party. Katie thought of every detail! She could give my sister-in-law Michelle a run for her money! The triplets LOVED the animals! Abby tired to kiss them all. Maddie was a bit scared but still interested. The horse was her favorite. Zach liked the boy things, the chain link fences, the tractor, the big fan they used to cool the animals...but he liked the animals too. Since we have been home the girls have been asking for Aida! Maddie says, "Where Aida go" and Abby answers, "Aida bye-bye!" Even though I am sure my aunt , uncle and Annie are relaxing a bit more now then when we were there, I hope they had as much fun as we did! May we come back? Jake has big fishing plans!

It looks like a ton of fun! It's a lot of work though! Those happy pictures don't fool me! I know about getting them all dressed, sunscreened, then bathing suits and more sunscreen, then new diapers, and clothes for nap, then bathing suits and sunscreen again because you can't keep them out of the water. Then clothes and hair because it's out for supper! It's all very tiring!!!!!
