Baseball season is in full swing around our house. Jake is loving having some of his great buddies on his team and he really likes his coach, RON! Jake has had a few hits and even got a run in tonight. This is his first year with players pitching, not t-ball or machine pitch. It is much more exciting. The triplets are loving the season ,too. Last year it was such a nightmare to bring them to games. They ran everywhere and wanted to only play on the massive playground by the ball diamond. Sine they were only 18 months no one could be trusted and I was a wreak trying to "save" them from near falls. This year they still are drawn to the playground, but they do really well on it. My only role is making sure they are where they need to be, not running away. They have each found friends in siblings of the players and look forward to playing with them. I still don't see big chunks of the game..but it is a HUGE improvement from last year..HUGE!
Today was Muffin's with Mom at Jake's school! It is always fun to have special Jake time! We have a really fun weekend coming up...expect pictures to come! More ball games. White Caps game..a visit from Aida, Brendan and Ellise..a BBQ with friends...Tulip Time fun...Mother's day...lots of great things! Plus our BIG NEWS...We have booked a vacation to the Ocean in South Carolina in June! We are GEEKED about that!
