Happy Mother's Day!

We had such a great weekend with family and friends. Friday night we enjoyed a delicious BBQ with Eric, Michelle and the kids at our house. On Saturday Katie, Rob and the kids came to watch Jake's game, which they won, and then joined us at the White Caps at night! Jake's team was selected to be the honored Little League Team at the White Caps. Seventy members of the players families and friends all went to cheer the twelve boys on! It was an amazing experience for the boys! Each boy was paired with a White Caps player. First they hung out by the dug out and then they were announced with the player and ran out on the field. They stood by their player while the National Anthem was sung. They were given a water bottle, a five dollar gift card, VIP passes ,that they proudly wore around their necks and earned the title of BIG SHOTS for the night! Another nice surprise was the coaches, Ron and Landen's Dad, got the honors of playing a game between innings on the field with their boys! They were human hamburgers and had to make themselves into a sandwich! Too funny..at least it was to the spectators! As for the triplets first "real" baseball game..they were great! They loved hanging out with the big kids, pigging out on junk food, and taking in all the action. Maddie was obsessed with Franky the Mascot Pig. She kept telling me, "I wanna hug that piggy!"
On Mother's Day we enjoyed a great meal at my mom and dad's house after Church and then Ron's mom and dad joined us at night for dessert and coffee. I was spoiled all day and enjoyed some great art work and stories from Jake, a cute necklace and a NEW CAMERA...Can you tell? Are the pictures clearer? I am ever so grateful to be a mom and blessed beyond words to have such a great mom and awesome mother- in law! Kisses to my second mom..Aunt Shirley and to my cousin Laura, a new mom to be ANY DAY!
