Cousins in Chicago, Critters and Cruising

The triplets went to a day camp again this year at Critter Barn with friends. They loved it. It's a great camp and both fun and educational. Jake and Sara enjoyed checking out all the animals on drop off and pick up too. If you have not been..check it out!

Taking our first cruise on my dad's new boat. He's not a "new" boater, he has been boating his whole life. This is just a new boat...Every few years he gets what we call "foot disease" and decides that he needs a bigger boat! Works for us! We love boating on Lake Michigan! It's a great way to spend a day! His new boat is super roomy and the kids are excited to sleep on it this summer. Of course the trips favorite part is the potty! Jake thinks the two flat screen tv's on board is pretty cool!

My sister in law, Michelle and I took the big girls on a day trip to Chicago via the train this past week! What a fun day....but oh my was it a hot one (100). We had lunch at The American Girl Doll Store. It was a really fancy and fun lunch and the girls enjoyed having their dolls served too. After lunch Abby and Ella had their dolls ears pierced and Maddie had her dolls hair done in the salon. Her doll needed it BADLY! Her hair with a neat braid was much, much better for sure. I let my girls each pick an outfit for their dolls. So many cute choices but they each found the perfect one! Later,we did a little shopping at mom stores and made a stop for Zach at the Lego store. We ate a small dinner and headed home around 7. The kids were great. Never once did the whine or complain about ANYTHING..not even the heat. We loved every minute of our day out with the girls. Ella was the best big cousin EVER! She was so sweet to her little cousins. We made some nice memories with our daughters that day.:) Not sure why the last 2 pictures are out of order???? Oh..do you like the matching outfits? Ella's sweet idea!
