On June 11th we left for a vacation to the UP. In 4th grade they study Michigan, so Jake wanted to see all the sights he had studied. He was a good tour guide. Our first stop was Mackinaw City. Jake toured the fort with my parents while Ron and I took the triplets around the town. Jake loved the fort and the triplets loved picking out candy at the candy store and building a new friend at Build A Bear. In Mackinaw City we enjoyed eating out and swimming in our Hotel pool. Part two will feature our day trip to the island.
