We did not get away on Spring Break to any place tropical..but we sure had fun staying around here! We tried to do something fun and special every day! Here is a list of highlights!
1. Puppy sat for our cousin's dog, Sydney...she was well loved..probably a bit too much for her liking but she dealt with it!
2. Went to Chuck E. Cheese. The kids had taken note of the commercials on TV and thought that was a place they must go!
3. Out for ice cream
4. Out to lunch and the IMAX theatre to see, How to Train a Dragon ,with our Stoel cousins.
5. All four kids had a sleepover with their cousin, Lian! Fun for the kids and fun for Mom and Dad! We went to Babies R Us to look at Booster seats and baby gear! And out to eat!
6. Wednesday through Friday Katie, my aunt and Brendan, Aida and Ellise came to play!
7. Holland Aquatic center for some swimming fun with Kate and gang.
8. Shopping for Katie and Beth while Grandma's watched the kiddos. Lots of playing for the kids
9. Grand Rapids Public Museum to see the Big ,Big Bugs with Kate & gang!

So we may not have a great tan..but we have great memories of a fun week with family! My cousin Katie and I were so close growing up..and still are today! We talk on the phone every week! It is really important to us that our kiddos build a bond too. We are thinking the girls are on their way since we found the three of them hiding in a closet applying lip gloss to each other..Just the type of mischief Kate and I found in our day! The boys are funny too. Brendan worships Jake and Zach worships Brendan. They had fun wrestling and being boys! And for Ellise..she had LOTS of loving from her big cousins. She is the most laid back baby ever!!!Thanks for the great visit Kate and Auntie Shirl!
