Our oldest: Today is Jake's 11th birthday. It was a real eye opener this morning when we took him out to breakfast and he's too old for the kid menu! He thought that was cool..I thought that was sad. Jake is showing us signs all the time that he is transitioning from a kid to a pre teen. Some of those signs are a true joy to see..some are expected but not as fun! It's all part of growing up! He is a great kid and a wonderful big brother. After breakfast we headed to Allegan for his b-ball game. They won! What a present that was!!
Our youngest: On the 13th , Sara turned 5 months old. She is really blooming and showing us who she is going to be. She is grabbing everything, including my hair and the 5 month old sign in this picture. She loves her exersaucer and standing on laps. She has tried cereal but needs to come along way before she is good at eating it. She can roll both ways but does not do it often. She prefers to be sat upright so she can see EVERYTHING..including the cat. Run Gizmo! Nothing makes her happier than her siblings..they can get her cracking up! She is drooling a lot..teeth may be on the way! She still spits like CRAZY! She is in the goofy hair stage..bald in spots, long in others, new coming in, old falling out. Cute hats help! She is such a smiley baby and is a happy, happy girl. We are still working on sleeping through the night. She wakes like clock work at 2 am every night. I would love to break that habit, but so far she is winning!
