Much to Report..

Zach described his injury to his cousins as this.."look I had a crash landing!" That is a Zach way to describe it for sure!


I have been neglectful of my blog. Sorry! I have just been busy with all the activities of the season and the blog seems to always come in last place in the priority category. I apologize to family that counts on the blog to keep up with our life. So here is what we have been up to this December. A late Thanksgiving with the Sechrists, Olechs and Baidels', a holiday light parade to welcome Santa into our town, making cookies and having indoor picnics on snow days ( we had two of them), learning how to draw people, playing in the snow, Holiday party at Katie's house and oh ya...a trip to the orthopedic surgeon for Zach! He was playing with his cousin Aida, and his sisters and we think he fell off a bunk bed ladder. We have no credible eye witness. He complained all day of it hurting and would only use it in a very limited manner. We felt it was better to be safe than sorry.Sure enough he broke his wrist. He is being a trooper, but is not a fan of the cast . It is not slowing him down much it just makes things a bit more tricky for him. It has made me realize just how independent he was on some things and now he needs my help again to do them..We will need to get use to the inconvenience because it is going to be there for a minimum of four weeks! We are looking forward to all the fun holiday activities in the next few days! Merry Christmas to all!
