Ron and I took the triplets to see Sesame Street Live in downtown Detroit at the Fox Theater this past weekend. Jake opted out of the "baby show". Their cousin's Brendan and Aida and their Mom and Dad joined in on the fun too. They adored the show and were quite in awe of its grandness. Zach shook with excitement and screamed in delight at each new character that came on stage. His screaming fit in well with the crowd as it was mainly 4 and under and everyone was screaming at some point! Although it must not have been too loud as I caught Katie's husband Rob with his head bobbing and eyes closed more than once. Maybe it was the late night at the U of M hockey game that caused that sleepiness?? Probably the only thing that disappointed them all day was when we made the choice not to get them Elmo balloons they brought out for purchase at intermission. Since the balloons were 10 bucks a piece we decided that fifty dollars on 5 balloons was a bit excessive.
Such fun! But I do think the triplets were just as excited to see Brendan and Aida as they were Elmo "for real"! Thanks for the fun weekend , Katie!

So glad we could share "sunny days" together! What a blast to see their excitement and joy!
Looks like fun! We took Frank and Ford to Dora Live when they were little - so I will have to find a show for the twins - maybe when they are three!
