Memorial Day 2012
Boy oh boy, we have really enjoyed our early, hot summer in Michigan this year. This weekend was perfect. We played with our kids, visited with family ,and watched a parade. On Sunday my mom, my aunt and three FAV cousins came over to honor our Grandma Grace and family by putting flowers on their graves. It was a tradition that our Grandma never missed and we are carrying it on with great pride and in her honor. After we visited the cemeteries we went shopping in Saugatuck and had dinner at Douglas. Great day!!!!! On Monday our little town has the cutest parade every year and NOBODY misses it. The kids just love the parade and all the silly tractors and floats that go by. They collected TONS of candy..seriously it was TONS. After the parade we walked back to our house and had breakfast with aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. It's a tradition I hope we always keep.
The kids and their best neighborhood buddies!!
Sara liked the parade in someone's arms. The nosies were kinda scary!
My cute girls before church on Sunday in their Patriotic clothes!
Saugatuck with my Aunt Shirley!
These parade pictures got out of order?? I love this one of Sara and her buddy Benny! He came to the parade in a double stroller and she jumped right in the empty seat!
