PROUD OF OUR KIDDOS!

Yesterday was the triplet's first day of preschool. They did so well..they were ready to go. They see their big bro go to school everyday and have wanted it to be their turn for a LONG time now. They had their new backpacks on at 7:30 when we did not need to leave for another hour!! They were all smiles when I dropped them off and they told me they are ready to go back when I picked them up! Today we will work on their homework..another big plus of school for them...they were geeked about it!
At night our family went to an art show for Jake. Our district has a neat program called Art, It's Out There! They select art work from all grade levels to be featured in an art show. The art work is displayed and then available for lease around the community. Many businesses lease the work. It is a fundraiser for the arts and a great way to honor kids for their work. Jake has been nominated before but his work has never made the show. Once nominated it goes through a few judging levels before it makes the show. This year Jake was honored with two pieces in the show!! So, with football gear on we headed to his art show to view his work before dropping him off to football practice. For a boy that thinks life only exists of sports, it was nice to see him being honored and proud of something other that a ball game. His work was the Big Moose and the Lizard in the showcase...
