Why I love my 10 year old!

I have so many reasons to be proud of my newly ten year old, Jake! On the 15Th we celebrated him turning a double digit and it gave my pause to think about the last ten years with him. He is such a good kid! He loves life and loves his family. He tries his hardest in all he does and always wants to do his best. From the beginning Jake was an easy baby..a go with the flow kind of kid..that has never changed. He is cautious yet willing to try. He is a wonderful big brother ..it just comes naturally to him. I could go on and on....there are so many reasons to love Jake..It is hard to believe he is ten already. It is so fun to see him grow yet, part of me wants to stop him from growing anymore. Love you Jake!
We celebrated his birthday with a joint party honoring our niece , Lian ,11, too. Her birthday is on the 20Th. He was spoiled with presents! On his actual birthday he got a "REAL" Aaron Rodgers jersey, quarterback for Green Bay, a book called Million Dollar Throw and football penalty flags to assist him on his daily playground football games. Do you sense his interests??? At night we went out to dinner and to see the Blindside ( a great movie!) Our last celebration will be this Friday with Gamma and Papa. It will be a joint celebration for Jake and for me, my birthday is on the 21st. Lots of celebrating..lots of reason to celebrate!
